This is an original 3½ x 6¼ catalogue in Spanish with the cover illustrated by Balenciaga's friend, Joan Miro, entitled "Portada."

This was created for 1974 exhibitions in Spain celebrating the life and work of Cristobal Balenciaga "The World of Balenciaga" that were held at the Palacio de Bibliotecas y Museos in Barcelona and the Salas de la Dirección General de Bellas Artes in Madrid. El Mundo de Balenciaga. Palacio de Bibliotecas y museos, Madrid, 20 de Febrero al 5 de Abril, 1974 - translated to: The world of Balenciaga: Palace of Libraries and Museums, Rooms of the General Directorate of Fine Arts, Madrid, February 20 to April 5, 1974

The catalogue includes homages to Balenciaga from Pauline de Rothschild and Cecil Beaton. The clothing in the catalogue features images of fashions starting in 1934 to when the house closed in 1968.
