• Lapidaria margaretae, also known as Karoo Rose, is closely related to the Aizoaceae family. This rare succulent looks quite similar to Lithops, Dinteranthus, and Schwantesia, except that Lapidaria margaretae has from two to four pairs of leaves instead of just one pair.
  
  In the fall or early winter, Karoo Rose blooms beautiful large yellow flowers up to 2 inches (5 cm) wide.
